2020 Park Opening Update
The Osceola County Parks will open for Camping and Day Use on June 8, 2020 at 9:00 am. The campground, restrooms, beach,boat launch, and concessions will be opened at this time. The playgrounds and pavilions will remain closed at this time.
Osceola County Parks Seeking Personnel for the 2020 Season: The Osceola County Parks Commission is seeking paid hourly and salaried seasonal park personnel at both Rose Lake and Crittenden County Park for the 2020 season. Each job requires employment from April through October. Hourly and salaried positions require summer residence at the park in your recreational vehicle. A campsite with water and electric is provided. We are also looking for volunteers by the month or season. Volunteer positions also include a campsite. Camping Reservation Process: As of January 1, 2018 camping reservations will no longer be taken by phone. Reservations must be made by using the Camping Reservation Form. The form is online and can be submitted electronically or printed and sent by mail. Please see the Camping Registration Request Form for more information.
After April 15th please call Rose Lake Park at (231) 768-4923 or Crittenden Park at (231) 734-2588 for 2020 reservations. See COVID-19 Update.
The Osceola County Parks Commission has two separate and unique parks in its park system. They are both situated on a lake, bordered by forest, and offer limitless opportunities for both the sportsman and recreational enthusiast.
Rose Lake Park, located on Rose Lake, and Crittenden Park, located on Big Lake both offer great fishing. Other recreational opportunities include camping, swimming, and other day use activities such as picnic tables, playground, pavilions, etc. Additionally, Rose Lake Park is located near the White Pine Trail and Crittenden Park is located near the Pere Marquette State Trail.
Camping is available by the day, week, month, or season. You can use the menu bar on the left to view announcements, a map of each park, and other information.
