Job Postings

Request for Bids - Repair Septic and Replace Pavilion Concrete Floor

The Osceola County Parks Commission is requesting bids to repair the septic system and replace the pavilion concrete floor at Crittenden Park, 3641 S. 50th Avenue, Sears, Michigan.  Interested bidders may obtain bid information from the Osceola County Parks by phone (231) 832-6130, by email oscparks@live.com, or by contacting the Parks Director Carl Baumgras at (616) 240-5477.

The Osceola County Parks Commission reserves the right to accept or reject all bids in whole or in part.  Bids are due by Tuesday, August 19, 2014.

Request for Bids - House Removal

The County of Osceola is seeking sealed bids for the tear down, removal of building debris, and filling in the basement of a house located at 310 W. Slosson Avenue, Reed City, Michigan.  Refer to the Bid Specifications and Bid Submission Form for further information.

Osceola County EMS Hosting Open House

Osceola County EMS will be hosting an open house at their new EMS facility located at 300 Meadowview Lane in Marion on August 12th from 10:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., with the ribbon cutting scheduled for 11:00 a.m.  Light refreshments will be served.

The Building Department will have the following hours the week of July 28th - August 1st:

Monday, July 28th, 8 a.m. - noon
Tuesday, July 29th, 8 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
Wednesday, July 30th, 8 a.m. - noon
Thursday, July 31st, 8 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
Friday, August 1st, CLOSED

Rose Lake Park Restroom and Handicap Sites Dedication

The Osceola County Parks Commission will be dedicating the Rose Lake Park South Restroom and Handicap Sites Grant Completion on Tuesday, July 22nd, 2014 at 5:00 p.m.  These events will take place at the Rose Lake Park located at 17726 Youth Drive in LeRoy.  A parks commission meeting will follow this dedication.

During the month of June Osceola County held four informational meetings, one in each quadrant of the county, concerning the Emergency Medical Services and Commission on Aging ballot proposals.  The EMS Millage Information Presentation is available for viewing.
